Since removing Linux from my day-to-day activities (I still use if for backups and occasional laptop use), I find I'm using macOS (and iPad and Apple Watch) more and more. They integrate nicely and automagically. I've started using Apple's Safari instead of Chrome and Apple's Calendar instead of Google Calendar. Of course, these are linked so that what shows up in one shows up in another. (At least I hope so.) It'll take a bit to get used to this.
Why am I doing this? ...watched a YouTube video about the pros/cons and Safari may be a bit more memory friendly. Chrome is best if one is in the Google Workspace environment a lot. I'm really not so Safari wins. But the real reason is that it's different. I might as well keep the brain cells active by learning new things all the time.
FWIW - my Mac mini has been awesome and my want/need battle rages because I'm dreaming of an upgrade to Mac Studio. But, that's for another post some time into the future.
