The Gap In My Posts

If you look at the dates of this Blog, you'll see a huge gap between 2013 and 2024. The reason it's there is because in the intervening years I was using Wordpress for my blog. I've kind of explained already why I'm back with Blogger, but I wanted to address the gap. Not many people (or anyone for that matter) follows my blog, and it's more of a historical thing for me. I can do a recap of the highlights...

2015 - I wrote about my songwriting, my mom's paintings website, my move to smaller and lighter cameras, and something about computer storage.

2016 - something about Adobe Slate and Topaz Impressions, then the Valley Photo Center, complaining about my Xfinity TB box, my first Mac Mini (which I bought for Lee), and something about Browsers.

2019 - I discussed my Chromebook and saving power by using low power consuming devices.

2020 - I must have had a lot to talk about...

  • I talked about rcdanek.us. I had purchased this domain name years earlier and then let it go. Right after that, I had discovered it was for sale for way-too-much-money. I chucked. Then, apparently, in 2020, I found it was available again for normal prices, so I bought it. I like having my name on a .us domain.
  • I also talked about TV technology and migration to streaming.
  • Next, there's something about my hearing loss.
  • There's my plea for Microsoft to finally accept Linux.
  • There's my complaint about how Windows crashed and obliterated its system disk and my data on my new HP workstation.
  • I blathered about technology and future support of its products.
2022 - there's something here about how language develops. I think I was out-of-my-mind.

2024 - Here, I discussed my newly rejuvenated relationship with Apple.

OK, so that's about it. You are now caught up on my blog posts...clearly I have no followers. 😂
